Admission Information

To register your child please complete a school registration form. We invite all prospective parents to visit during term time to see the school in action. Please complete the booking form to join a tour.  Early registration is advised. However, vacancies do occasionally come up through the school year, so please feel free to contact us.

School places will be offered to children on our waiting list in order of their date of registration and date of birth. There are three admission intakes a year, and generally children are offered a place for the term before they turn three years old.

  • Autumn Term – September
  • Spring Term – January
  • Summer Term – April

Waiting list and admission policy

The waiting list and admission policy at the school is a very fair process.  We do occasionally make concessions if children have a relative at the school, or their parents were students here!

We have three nursery classes in the main school, and in line with the Montessori philosophy, each class is of mixed age range and the school tries to balance the number of boys and girls in each class.  We have a dedicated class for two to three year olds called the Beanies.

Children beginning morning school in the Beanies class during the Autumn term will remain in the same morning class for three terms before transitioning to the main school. All Beanies children have access to their classroom, a sensorial room, a dedicated outdoor space, the main school garden, and Ladbroke Square Gardens. Children who stay for the full day join the main school from midday, where they can explore new classrooms and interact with other children and teachers.

The school will begin to allocate places approximately one year to eighteen months before the child is due to start. If your child has been successful in obtaining a place, we will write to inform you of our decision and request a deposit to secure their place. At the start of their first term, we invite them to come and meet their new class friends and teachers.

The deposit will be returned at the end of your child’s last term provided that all fees have been paid and the appropriate term’s notice is given. It will not be refunded if the school place is not taken up.

If you would like to register your child, please follow the Registration Form link.  Alternatively, to arrange a visit, please contact the school office on 020 7229 0125.

We recommend that you join Lucy for a school tour or join us on zoom . We will walk you through the classrooms and introduce you to the Montessori approach to education. Please follow the link below to arrange an appointment.

Fees

A deposit of £2,000 will be requested when you are offered a place in order to secure this.  The deposit will be returned to you, after you take the place up, have paid fees in full and one term’s written notice has been given before a child’s final term with us.

School fees are payable in advance of each term (3 times a year). A full term’s written notice is required before the removal of any child; otherwise, parents are liable for fees in lieu of notice. Once paid, fees are non-refundable.

Fees are reviewed annually and may be subject to fee increases. Please contact the school to obtain the most current fee schedule.

We are part of the Universally Funded Hours for all eligible children (three and four year olds).  Please contact the school for more information.

Childcare vouchers; we accept childcare vouchers for those already on the scheme.
